After almost spending a whole night, Telugu superstar Allu Arjun was freed from the Hyderabad prison this morning. Earlier, between 7am-8m, the Pushpa star was released from the jail following the interim bail he received from the court last night.
According to a report by ANI, the star spent a whole night in the Hyderabad police station despite receiving the clearance from the High Court. However, it was reported that the police station officials had not received a copy of the bail till late last night, waiting for which Allu Arjun had to spend the night inside the station itself. The superstar’s legal representative Ashok Reddy informed to the media, “He has been released.” However, the lawyer complained of the actor not being released by the team of police officials despite getting a relief straight from the court.
In his statement ahead, Reddy said, “You should question the government and the department why they have not released the accused. The High Court order is very specific. Forthwith, the moment you (prison authorities) receive the order, ( they should) release him. Despite the clear order, they have not released, they have to answer. This is an illegal detention. We will take legal steps.” Reportedly, Allu Arjun was kept in the “special category prison” for the entire night, and was released immediately early in the morning at 7am.

For the unversed, on Friday morning, Telugu star Allu Arjun faced an unfolding twist of events. The actor was arrested from his house early in the morning, for the Hyderabad stampede case that happened in the Sandhya Theatre. The actor was arrested to hold responsibility of the entire incident after a lady Revathy had died in the stampede inside the theatre rush itself. The actor with his team of film Pushpa 2 had arrived to surprisingly meet and greet the public, however things got twisted and the fans went crazy upon seeing him which turned out to be uncontrollable and led to the demise of a 34year old woman unexpectedly.
