Priyanka Chopra To Join Virtual Girl Up Leadership Summit Alongside Meghan Markle & Michelle Obama

In the past few years, actress Priyanka Chopra has emerged as an iconic figure for raising her voice against many issues that are not easily addressed by society. To add another feather to her hat, Priyanka now has announced that she will be joining some influential personalities and women leaders at the virtual Girl Up Leadership Summit 2020.

Priyanka Chopra will be joining the former first lady Michelle Obama and Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle for the summit. She shared the same on her Instagram handle, and wrote, “No matter their background, girls have the power to transform themselves, their communities, and the world around them. Join me for the virtual 2020 @GirlUp Leadership Summit, July 13-15 with some of the top female leaders!”

Among the many celebs speaking at the summit include Monique Coleman, Bebe Rexha and Jamila Jamil.

Speaking of Girl Up Leadership Summit, the development programs have impacted over 65, 000 girls through 3, 500 Clubs in nearly 120 countries across the globe. It has also impacted all 50 states in the United States.

The summit is conducted to inspire a generation of girls to be a force of gender equality and social change.

For the unversed, earlier Priyanka has shared that she is an ambassador of the Toronto International Film Festival this year.

The Toronto International Film Festival this year will be taking a digital route and there will a virtual red carpet in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic. The festival is slated to start from September 10 and will go on till September 19, 2020.
