PM Narendra Modi Meets Bollywood’s Kapoor Family Ahead Of Legendary Raj Kapoor’s 100th Birth-Anniversary

As Raj Kapoor's 100th birth anniversary is going to reflect on December 14th, this year- the Kapoor family was obliged to meet the honorable Prime Minister, Mr.Narendra Modi ji in Delhi, discussing about the legendary star Raj Kapoor.

It turned out to be a magnificent evening as the highly loved Kapoor family of the bollywood industry, made way towards honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi to celebrate the centennial anniversary of the enigmatic Raj Kapoor. While the Kapoor family gears up to celebrate the 100th birth anniversary of the legendary star Raj Kapoor on December 14th, the entire family of Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Kareena, Saif Ali Khan, Nitu Kapoor, Babita, and more arrove to meet him in Delhi.

During PM Narendra Modi’s meeting with the Kapoors, he requested them to initiate on a project of making film about Raj Kapoor’s impact on the people of Central Asia. The entire family received this golden chance to talk about Raj Kapoor’s legacy and reminisce his skillset as an actor. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “Ek kaam ho sakta hai kya? Khas kar ki Central Asia… koi aisi film bane jo wahan ke logo ke dil main, dimaag par, Raj sahab… aaj itne dino ke baad bhi unka poora control hai, main batata hoon”

The PM extended his wished to the family while they shared a few moments of healthy chatter. Ranbir Kapoor, also revealed during the discussion about how nervous the Kapoor family has been before meeting him. He also shared a secret stating that Reema was constantly asking him to confirm what are the things that can be said in front of the prime minister and how should she address him. To ensure that the family gets comfortable, Modiji replies that he is also like the family member of Kapoors and they can call him however they wish to.

Remembered for his work in films like Awaara, Sangam, Shree 420 and Mera Naam Joker, Raj Kapoor remains a renowned figure in the Indian film industry.
