Salman Khan starrer Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali is one of the most anticipated films of Bollywood. The film has been making buzz ever since it got announced. If we believe the hearsay, the movie will be about communal amity and living with harmony.
Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali features Salman Khan alongside Pooja Hegde and the film is being produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The film will be helmed by Farhad Samji. Although the title of the film suggests what the film might be about but there were still many other speculations about the same. It will feature a family that believes in humanity and worships all the gods of any religion be it Hindu, Muslim or Catholic.
A source close to the development revealed the plot of Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali. It said, “His father is Muslim. His mother is Hindu. Helen Aunty is a Catholic. Salman’s family is a living example of communal amity. The film’s plot will be similar. It will portray the ups and downs in a family which celebrates both Eid and Diwali with equal fervour. It will be Salman’s homage to the enduring spirit of oneness and brotherhood, a counterpoint to the currently vitiated atmosphere in the country.”

The source also said that Salman has told Sajid that they will restart the shooting of the film as soon as the pandemic subsides. The source also revealed the much-anticipated Kick 2 and said, “He has told Sajid they will start as soon as the lockdown is over. Salman’s other project with Sajid Kick is for now on hold. Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali is what they are keen to shoot and complete in time for Eid 2021.”
On the work front, Salman Khan will be next seen in Prabhu Deva directed Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai. The film was slated to release on the occasion of Eid but the release date had to be postponed due to the lockdown imposed to curb the spread of COVID-19.
It is speculated that Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai will release in December later this year.
