In a 2023 interview, the actress candidly discussed the challenges she has faced in her life, including the impact of her abusive father.
Who Is Urfi Javed’s Father?
Urfi Javed was born into a middle-class Muslim family, with her father Ifru Javed and mother Zakia Sultana. In a past interview, Urfi described her father as abusive, leading her to flee with her sisters due to his mistreatment. Currently, Urfi resides in Mumbai with her mother and two younger sisters, having distanced herself from her father. However, there was no official confirmation about the same.
Talking with Dirty Magazine, Urfi Javed discussed her troubled past, revealing her father’s severe abuse and daily verbal attacks, which led her to attempt suicide multiple times. Despite being confined at home, she found solace in watching TV and developed a passion for fashion, aiming to stand out and be noticed at social events.

Urfi’s father is Ifru Javed and her mother is Zakia Sultana. Urfi has 4 siblings including three sisters – Asfi, Urusa, Dolly Javed, and one brother- Sameer Aslam.
