Apple TV+ has dropped the trailer for the Silo season 2, a popular dystopian drama and this new season is all set to premiere on November 15, 2024. Based on Hugh Howey’s books, the show stars Rebecca Ferguson as Juliette, a curious engineer determined to uncover the truth about her world. Rebecca Ferguson also works as one of the executive producers of the show.
Silo tells the story of the last 10,000 people on Earth. They live in a huge underground silo, built to protect them from the toxic environment outside. No one knows exactly why the silo was built or what happened to the outside world. In Season 1, Juliette starts investigating her loved one’s death, only to discover secrets about the silo that could put her life at risk. Season 2 will pick up where it left off with Juliette exploring the dangerous world beyond the silo and challenging the powerful people who run it.
Season 2 will introduce Steve Zahn as a new character, joining returning stars like Tim Robbins (as Bernard), Common, Harriet Walter and Chinaza Uche. Other familiar faces include Avi Nash, Alexandria Riley, and Shane McRae. With new characters and old, season 2 will bring more twists, tension and action as Juliette’s search for the truth becomes even riskier.
Silo was created by Graham Yost and is produced by Apple Studios. The series has a talented group of executive producers, including Rebecca Ferguson and Hugh Howey, the author of the original novels. Season 2 will have 10 episodes with one new episode released each week until January 2025.
