OTT has become a boon for those who wish to watch theatrically released films online. Every week a new film features online and this time adding name to the list of OTT movies is Aditya Roy Kapur starrer Rashtra Kavach Om. After releasing in cinema on 1st July the movie has made its way to digital space.
Rashtra Kavach Om is an action thriller film helmed by debutant director Kapil Verma. The movie revolves around the special mission of saving the nation by getting the Rashtra Kavach back in safe hands. The Para commando officer played by Aditya Roy Kapur is on a mission to protect his country.
One of the leading OTT platforms, Zee5 announced to premier Rashtra Kavach Om online. The movie will stream on Zee5 from 11th August 2022. So those who didn’t watch the movie in theaters or wish to watch it again can find the action-packed movie in Zee5’s library. The streaming platform shared a motion poster on its social media handle and wrote, “Hogi desh ke dushmano ki haar, para-commando Om hai taiyyar! Jai Bhavani! #OMOnZEE5 premieres 11th August”.
Aditya Roy Kapur is seen performing high-octane stunts. His physical transformation for this project was highly appreciated by his fans. The movie was released along with R Madhavan’s Rocketry: The Nambi Effect but failed to earn numbers at the box office. It was a disappointment but managed to run for weeks in cinemas.
Director Kapil Verma said, “I am elated that a film packed with raw action and deep emotion will premiere on India’s largest home-grown video streaming platform, ZEE5 during the Independence Day weekend and will reach across audience in 190+ countries! Along with Aditya Roy Kapur, the film also stars Sanjana Sanghi, Jackie Shroff, Prakash Raj, and Ashutosh Rana in leading roles. The movie released on July 1 2022 is produced by Ahmed Khan under the banners of Zee Studios.
