TVF started the web shows culture by releasing series like Permanent Roommates, TVF Pitchers, and Tripling among others on its Youtube channel. The Viral Picture has now brought up a brand new season of the much-loved show about siblings’ bond and their friendship. Tripling 3 is returning with Sumeet Vyas, Maanvi Gagroo, and Amol Parashar back on the road for a new trip.
Tripling season one had set a benchmark releasing in 2016. The first chapter was unanimously praised by fans and critics but many felt season 2 was not up to the mark. The writer of the show Sumeet Vyas too accepts and agrees with this.
Maanvi Gagroo who plays Chanchal drew a comparison between seasons 1 and 2. She told Hindustan Times, “I don’t think that anything was missing in season 2 per se. The style and storytelling were extremely different in the second season. I thought that it was good. The logline was completely different. Nobody thought of something like that. The show had a lot to do with siblings and surely would have been relatable to a lot of viewers. I am not sure how many people would have gone on a road trip before the show would have come. People started going on road trips with their siblings after that. I think the novelty factor came into being after that.”
She went on to say, “Also, I feel that when first season came out, OTT was extremely new back then. In my opinion, season 2 might have not met that kind of expectations. I had a great time shooting season 2 so I have no complaints.”
Tripling 3 is touted to be uniquely different from the previous two seasons. The third chapter will see three siblings reunion when they learn about their parents getting a divorce. In order to save their separation Chandan, Chanchal and Chitvan plan a family trek. This new season will be more fun and interesting to watch.
Tripling 3 will hit Zee5 roads on 21st October 2022. The third season returns with its pivotal cast including Sumeet Vyas, Amol Parashar, Maanvi Gagroo, Kumud Mishra, and Shernaz Patel. Tripling 3 is directed by Neeraj Udhwani and written by Sumeet Vyas.
