Engaa Hostel, Tamil Remake of TVF’s popular web series Hostel Daze is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video from January 27. The series’ trailer is out now and it introduces six engineering students and the various problems of their hostel life.
The trailer opens with a first year student telling his senior students “This is my hostel, there is no ragging here, this is called bonding” but while he recites his dialogue, some first year students are facing ragging in the backdrop. The series will revolve around six engineering students and how they go through their college life dealing with friendship, love life and academics.
The series stars Sacchin Nachiappan, Avinaash Ramesh, Samyuktha Viswanathan, Saranya Ravichandran, Dravid Selvam, Goutham Raj Csv, Vidur, Chu Khoy Sheng, Sreelal, Jaya Kumar.
The series will explore daily issues faced by engineering students in a hostel in a light hearted manner. There is also a subplot about a love triangle between Ajay, Ahaana and Rajathilagam.
The original Hindi series Hostel Daze returned for a third season in November 2022. The series starred Ahsaas Channa, Luv Vispute, Shubham Gaur, Nikhil Vijay, Ayushi Gupta and Utsav Sarkar.
