“Nick would be absolutely thrilled to hear this news,” his wife Kloots said on Instagram. “I’ve never seen my husband work so hard on something and be so nervous to perform. I was so proud of him and absolutely loved watching him onstage these two nights. He created this show from scratch, choosing songs to tell a story … his story.”
“Live Your Life” stars guest appearances by Cordero ‘s friend Zach Braff, Broadway’s “Jagged Little Pill” Kathryn Gallagher, and the “Waitress” Drew Gehling.
Cordero died from coronavirus on July 5 at the age of 41, after a month-long health struggle. His fight captured the attention of the world, and fans and friends shared videos playing the performer’s music on social media to encourage hope.
The actor’s struggle with various setbacks and health crisis was documented in constant Instagram posts by wife Kloots, which were followed by an old and new global fan base.
Meanwhile, earlier this month at a small memorial with close friends and family Amanda Kloots honored her late husband Nick Cordero. She said that the Broadway actor’s sad demise, after a fight with COVID-19, was in “spirit” when she took to Instagram on July 12.
