Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi have been cast in Emerald Fennell’s upcoming film adaptation of Wuthering Heights. MRC has chosen LuckyChap Entertainment to produce the movie based on Emily Brontë’s classic novel. Fennell is in charge of writing, directing, and producing the project, which is currently in pre-production and is scheduled to film in the U.K. later this year.
Margot Robbie is confirmed to portray Catherine Earnshaw, while Elordi will take on the role of Heathcliff. The book, first published in 1847, revolves around the tumultuous relationship between Catherine and Heathcliff, filled with passion and revenge, as they encounter each other while residing at the titular residence.
