Mahesh Shetty Opens Up About His Brotherly Bond With Sushant Singh Rajput

One of the finest and talented actors of the Indian film industry Sushant Singh Rajput died of suicide on Sunday. The whole industry along with his fans and family are mourning the untimely death of Sushant. During the police investigation, it was found out that the actor had made his last call to his Pavitra Rishta co-actor and best friend Mahesh Shetty. However, the call went unanswered due to Mahesh’s personal reason, even after his death Mahesh didn’t give any statement, but now, 4 days after Sushant’s tragic death, Mahesh took to his Instagram account and shared a heartfelt note.

He captioned this post as, “So much has been left unanswered and there’s so much more left to talk. I’ll tell you all about it when I see you again !!!” In his long and emotional post, Mahesh shared how much he loved Sushant as a person and how their bond grew all these years. Talking about their bond Mahesh shared, how they become an integral part of each other’s lives, from connecting over food, endless chat, films, books, nature, science to long walks in FilmCity.

Further Mahesh shares, he knew Sushant was the blessed one but never expected God would take him so early. However, he’s glad to have walked with Sushant for 13 years in his journey of life.

Previously Mahesh’s team posted a message for the fans, well-wishers, and media, the post read, “As we all are deeply pained and shocked to hear about Sushant Singh Rajput’s untimely demise… So is Mahesh Shetty. He has lost a brother, a very dear friend, and is still coming to terms with the shock and reality and is completely heartbroken. We, his team, request the media and all of you, on his behalf, to please give him some privacy and let him grieve for his loss.”

Reportedly, Mahesh gave his statement to police in which he revealed that Sushant had stopped taking his anti-depressant pills for the past few days. Sushant informed Mahesh that he is fine now and he doesn’t need the pills.
