Social media influencer Kusha Kapila, who turned out into a leading actress of the big screens recently appeared at a podcast Moment of Silence. The influencer who hails from South Delhi, revealed that how she and ex-husband Zorawar Ahluwalia were forced to announce their divorce news publicly.
Back in 2023, Kusha announced her divorce with husband Zorawar Ahluwalia upon her social media.The news shook everyone, including her fans, friends and close relatives in the family. Kusha also received immense backlash for her body weight, and poor relationship post the news of their separation went viral. However, not everyone knew that she was forced to bring the news immediately or else it was to go leaked without her permit. In the podcast, Kusha opened up saying that a news publication released an ultimatum for Kusha Kapila,and husband Zor after she was spotted by them around the court.
Revealing the publication’s words, Kusha said, “The news outlet told we are giving you two days to either confirm it or deny it, and on the third day, we are going to carry the story. So it was important for the news to come out from us.”
She stated that although it was just the media doing their job, but she initially wanted to keep both hers, as well as Zorawar’s identity private with no publicity stunt taking place. The issue of divorce is so sensitive yet, she had to bring it out like this after a deadline was imposed to her from someone who owes her nothing but wanted to run the story out.
