Katy Perry Opens Up About How She Is Feeling During Her Pregnancy

Earlier this year American singer and songwriter Katy Perry announced her pregnancy and since then she has been on cloud nine. She alongside her fiancé Orlando Bloom are anticipating the arrival for their first child together. Katy and Orlando will be welcoming a baby girl next month.

Recently, Katy Perry virtually joined the Australian radio show and shared her experiences around her pregnancy. The 35-year old singer also showed off her growing baby bump in a crop top promoting her upcoming album and confessed that she currently weighs 190 pounds.

The Roar singer shared that she is at a stage where everything is swollen. Katy said, “My hands are swollen, my feet are starting to swell,” before adding that she wears sandals everywhere she goes. “It’s starting to get to that point.” She further added, “I’m really grateful to body and have so much respect for other women going through this process. You get a whole new viewpoint being pregnant.”

During the interaction, Katy also mentioned that pregnancy hasn’t slowed her down and she further described herself as being a ‘mother on the move’.

Katy also said that she has been working really hard and the best part is that she doesn’t have to travel. She believes that travelling can really take it out.

Speaking of her unborn daughter, Katy said that she won’t be surprised if the baby turns out lively and energetic. Perry mentioned that she and Orlando share a similar DNA, hence, their daughter would likely be the same.

The singer also reacted on the rumour of her and Orlando asking Jennifer Aniston to be the godmother of their daughter. Katy said, “She texted her because we are friendly with her, and Orlando is one of her good friends. And we were like, ‘Wow, this is a wild rumour.’ I mean, God knows with her, she’s had everything said about her.”

Katy also added that it is a fun rumour and they have no idea where it came from. She later joked by saying that one should definitely believe everything one reads.
