When appearing on Celebrity Small Talk’s shown Yesterday, host Smallzy asked Katy whether she made the car change to a minivan. “No” said the “Daisy” star, she didn’t — but she has a hybrid SUV!
Indeed, Katy and Orlando didn’t stop planning ahead there. Smallzy then asked Katy if she had installed a car seat in this hybrid SUV; although the response to that was still a “no,” she had already thought about potential car trips with her mini-me. “Not yet, but there’s one [a car seat] in the garage…it’s all happening, bit by bit, little by little,” Katy confirmed.
Judging by her new interview, Katy will be a great mom — a role she’s been waiting to take on since her pregnancy was confirmed in March 2020! She doesn’t give up her singing career to become a full-time parent though.
“I never wanted to have to chose between being a mother and doing what I love,” Katy also told Smallzy during their chat. She added, “As long as it brings me joy then I think the energy surrounding it and my family is healthy. I’m an active mum, I call myself a mom on the move.”
For now, Katy’s going to rock her baby bump in a car seat before her baby rocks. Dressed in a black and white button-down blouse, she showed off her bun in the oven, looked positively beautiful. “Do you wanna see something gorgeous?” Katy asked in the IG post, before panning her face.
Meanwhile, Katy and Orlando ‘s rumors of “ups and downs” in the middle of pregnancy and the COVID-19 pandemic has been “highly exaggerated,” said a source close to the latter. However, for the first-time parents this was always an overwhelming moment.
“Katy is not only dealing with a ton of real emotions about becoming a first-time mom, but she’s also doing so under enormously unusual circumstances,” a source reported to an entertainment portal. “And all Orlando wants is to be there for Katy every step of the way. But at the same time he’s also going through so much as the future husband and father, and feels like he needs to be the protector.”
Also actor Orlando Bloom shared a painful post on Instagram about his beloved pup, days after his furry friend had gone missing in Montecito, California.
