Kareena Kapoor Khan will be embracing motherhood for the second time now. She and her husband Saif Ali Khan recently gave the good news to media and fans. The couple is expecting the bundle of joy to arrive in February or March next year.
Kareena revealed how her four-year-old son Taimur reacted to the news. She told, “He is figuring out things. He is very ahead of his age. We never treated him like a kid. We treated him like an equal and adult. He is a giving boy and that he is ready.”
She then also spoke about how she is treating herself right now. Bebo said, “Last time, I just took myself for granted and became huge. I put on 25 Kgs, I don’t want to do that, I just want to be healthy and fit. I think the first time, it’s just excitement. Everyone’s like parathe khao, ghee khao, doodh piyo, besan ka laddoos are coming. And now, I’m like listen I have done it before, I know what my body requires. My doctor’s like ‘listen you are not eating for two, that is just a myth. Just be healthy and be safe.’ And that is what I am trying to do.”
She also said that they are a little worried due to current pandemic times.

Saif and Kareena fell in love on teh sets of their film Tashan. They dated for some time and finally got married in 2012. In December 2016, the couple was blessed with a baby boy whom they named Taimur Ali Khan.
Kareena is Saif Ali Khan’s second wife. Saif was earlier married to actor Amrita Singh, with whom he has two children- Ibrahim Ali Khan and Sara Ali Khan.
On the work front, Kareena will be next seen in the film Laal Singh Chaddha co-starring Aamir Khan. The film was scheduled for release in December this year. However, it has now been postponed for a year due to the pandemic.
