The news of the sudden demise of actor Sushant Singh Rajput left everyone utterly shocked. The 34-year old actor died of suicide on June 14, 2020, and his dead body was found at his residence in Mumbai. Sushant was allegedly battling with depression for the past couple of months, which might have been one of the reasons behind the actor taking the drastic step to end his life.

Currently, Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide case is being investigated by the Mumbai Police. However, the late actor’s fans are demanding CBI inquiry for the same. With many allegations stating that Sushant was boycotted by the Bollywood biggies, Mumbai Police have already recorded their statements to look into personal rivalry angle. After Mahesh Bhatt and Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Karan Johar is now summoned by Mumbai Police.

Reports state that Karan Johar recorded his statement on July 27 in connection to Sushant Singh Rajput suicide row. The news comes in after the filmmaker being bashed by the netizens for constantly supporting star kids in the industry while ignoring the outsiders.

Even a plea was filed against Karan Johar, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and other big names in the industry in a court in Bihar which was later turned down.

Post Sushant’s demise, KJo had penned down an emotional note for the late actor. He shared a throwback picture with Sushant on his Instagram handle and wrote, “I blame myself for not being in touch with you for the past year….. I have felt at times like you may have needed people to share your life with…but somehow I never followed up on that feeling…will never make that mistake again…we live in very energetic and noisy but still very isolated times …some of us succumb to these silences and go within…we need to not just make relationships but also constantly nurture them.”

He further added, “Sushant’s unfortunate demise has been a huge wake up call to me …to my level of compassion and to my ability to foster and protect my equations…..I hope this resonates with all of you as well….will miss your infectious smile and your bear hug.”

However, Karan’s condolences didn’t go well with the netizens who lashed out at him and claimed that he treated Sushant as an outsider.
