Kanye West has stirred up more controversy with an explicit post about Kamala Harris, which he quickly retracted and apologized for. The incident took place on X during a flurry of posts on Saturday night. West, who was banned from the platform in 2023 for anti-Semitic remarks, made his return to social media with a series of contentious messages.
The troubling post referred to Harris in a sexually derogatory way and was linked to her defeat against Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election. Kanye wrote, “I used to want to f*** Kamala until she lost. I don’t f*** losers anymore”. His comment faced significant backlash for its disrespectful and inappropriate nature, especially considering Harris’s historic role as the first woman and the first person of Black and South Asian descent to hold the office of U.S. Vice President.
Following the outcry, Kanye deleted the post and apologized, expressing regret for his inappropriate comment. He stated, “Kamala seems like a very nice human, I just wanna say sorry to her kids”. Nevertheless, his apology did little to alleviate the criticism, with many calling for him to take more responsibility for his actions.

In a subsequent tweet, he remarked, “The democrats made me take the loser post down. Naw I’m kidding. They don’t control black people no more. Trump 4 life”. This comment appeared to mock the situation while reaffirming his loyalty to former President Donald Trump, whom he has supported publicly.
This social media drama unfolded shortly after Kanye generated buzz by announcing on Instagram that he was only following one account—Taylor Swift’s. This action fueled speculation about their long-standing feud, which has persisted for 15 years.
