TV serial Balika Vadhu fame actress Pratyusha Banerjee had a sudden death in the industry. On April 1, 2016 the Anandi fame actress was reported dead by committing suicide. Despite having a good name in the television industry, something just did not fit right which led to her demise. Now, nine years after Pratyusha Banerjee was found dead at her Mumbai residence, her ex-boyfriend, Rahul Raj Singh has come forward revealing some shocking claims. In a recent interview, Rahul talked about the late actress and opened up on how her suicide was picturised as a murder by Kamya Punjabi, alleging him to be the reason behind it.

Kamya Punjabi Pushed Pratyusha Into Drinking Habits, Claims Rahul Raj
Rahul Raj Singh comes after 9 long years to finally speak his side of the story in Pratyusha Banerjee suicide case. He claimed that it was Kamya Punjabi who started the narrative of Pratyusha not committing suicide but being a victim of murder. Rahul also alleged that Kamya forced her to get her into drinking and this is how she got so indulged into partying frequently with friends till late. She also borrowed more than 2 lakh rupees from Pratyusha and never gave it back to her. Post the narrative set by Kamya, the story of Pratyusha Banerjee being murdered was taken forward by other recognisable names of the industry like Vikas Gupta, Rakhi Sawant and Ajaz Khan.
According to the tea spilled by Pratyusha’s former boyfriend Rahul Raj, people like Vikas Gupta and Kamya Punjabi already saw him as the villain because he kept trying to keep Pratyusha away from the habit of drinking and spending out so much money on the same. Hassled by the same, they found her suicide case as an opportunity to drag him as the crime suspect of the incident. “They also included Pratyusha’s parents into this, by tempting them to help them financially”, Rahul added.
