Hollywood actor and WWE wrestler John Cena is a big name in the Hollywood industry. Not only does he comprise of a fanbase from his country but is applauded for his aura from fans worldwide. Cena recently visited India for the most luxurious wedding of India, The Ambani wedding. While he met so many Indian personalities from the entertainment,sports and political industry – one particular meeting that changed his way of thinking turns out to be the King Khan of Bollywood, Shahrukh Khan.
In a recent interview with ANI, John Cena came out discussing his experience at the Radhika-Anant’s wedding. When he was questioned on his views on meeting Shahrukh Khan, he said he was completely “starstruck”. The Hollywood actor quoted, “He did a TED Talk that found me at the right time of my life. His words were beyond inspirational to me. They helped orchestrate a change in my life.”
The actor who sat for an interview for his upcoming American action movie, ‘Jackpot’, continued to praise Khan’s charm. He said that he was grateful to be meeting him and that Shahrukh Khan was the most empathetic person he found at the wedding.
John Cena On His Retirement
The Hollywood actor in the conversation also confirmed that he will be taking retirement next year which is when he turns 48. John said he had been preparing the audience and himself for the retirement from a long while and now is finally the time to do it. He said he will be hosting a grand Global Farewell Tour for the fans and audience who has given him so much love before he bids the final goodbye.
Cena’s Upcoming Movie JACKPOT
John Cena interacted with ANI speaking on his upcoming film Jackpot. He described his experience working with the co-stars in the movie as, ‘lovely, fun and entertaining’. Jackpot releases on Amazon Prime Video via Amazon MGM Studios on the 15th of August, 2024. The film also stars other Hollywood celebrities like Awkwafina, Machine Gun Kelly, Simu Liu and many.
