Famous Tamil actor Jayam Ravi recently announced the termination of his 15 years long marriage with wife Aarti Sharma. The Indian actor opened up about his divorce through social media and shared the update with his fans that this decision was taken after a lot of thought and process. A week after the divorce news went out, speculations of Jayam being involved with singer Kenisha Francis circled around. Now, in a recent intereaction with media, the actor has bashed the rumor mills requesting people to not involve Kenishaa in this matter.

On being asked by the media, Jayam Ravi during the promotions of his film ‘Brother’ revealed that wife Aarti was sent a legal notice for the divorce. However, he did not receive any response from her making it difficult for him to proceed further. He said he had to unfortunately bring it out in the public because she was not ready to let things move easily. The actor further clarified his stance by saying that all the rumors about his affair are completely baseless. He also addressed her as a person who has healed many lives and called her a licensed psychologist. As Jayam Ravi quotes, ‘ Kenishaa is a famous singer with 600 stage shows. Please don’t involve her in this. Let your personal life be personal. Live and Let live”.
Further, he highlighted his bond with Kenishaa and stated that they have plans to work together in the future. ‘Kenishaa and I have plans of starting a healing centre in the future. That’s our goal. We want to help many people. Please don’t spoil it. Nobody can spoil it too. Don’t involve anyone unnecessarily,’ the actor added.

A few weeks ago the Tamil actor had announced his separation with his wife on his social media. Right after the news was viral, his wife, passed a contradictory statement publicly that she was shocked and taken aback by his decision as she was unaware of the divorce. Wife Aarti in her post said that she was deeply shocked by the decision which was taken without her consent. Talking about the workfront, Jayam Ravi is currently busy with the promotions of his upcoming film Brother, in the tamil cinema.
