Janhvi Kapoor Opens Up About Her Privileges As A Star Kid

Janhvi Kapoor, daughter of filmmaker Boney Kapoor and late actress Sridevi has opened up about the privileges she gets as a star kid. She accepts that she is lucky to be born in a privileged background and that she doesn’t face much difficulties as others do. She said in a recent interview, “I haven’t had to deal with the kind of things that most women have to deal with. Because I do come from a slightly more privileged background and so I have been extremely lucky in the way that I have been treated and the opportunities that I have gotten.” However, she also accepts that there is everyday sexism in the industry and she can realise it every now and then. Janhvi made her Bollywood debut in 2018 film Dhadak. And now, she is gearing up for another film titled ‘Gunjan Saxena- The Kargil Girl’. The film is a biopic of airforce pilot Gunjan Saxena, the first Indian female pilot in combat and who participated in the Kargil War at fronts.
