The entertainment industry has been adversely affected due to the coronavirus pandemic. With the shooting of many movies and TV shows stalled, daily wage workers working in the entertainment biz have lost their livelihood. As the shooting of the dance numbers has also been called-off, dancers are facing financial trouble.
Amid the health and financial crisis, actor-director Jackky Bhagnani has stepped forward to help the needy. He has donated one month’s essential groceries to 600 dancer’s family of All India Film Television and Events Dancers Association.
As a label, Jackky’s Jjust Music works with dancers along with musicians for different music videos. Helping his own while keeping the intent of his “first artists” slogan high, Jackky has marked his donations through the label.
Earlier, Jackky had donated more than 1000 PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) kits to BMC officials. When Jackky found out those officers worked without the kits, he immediately planned to send them.
The official Twitter handle of BMC even thanked Jackky Bhagnani for his noble need. The tweet read that the actor’s contribution will help our COVID-19 warriors in their fight against the coronavirus.
They also managed to donate more than Rs 3 crores to the various relief funds for COVID-19 through his initiative Muskurayega India under the label Jjust Music.
Many Bollywood celebs like Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Sonu Sood, Hrithik Roshan, and others have stepped forward to play their part in helping the ones affected because of the health pandemic. While some have provided financial help others have provided with daily necessities or other necessary facilities.
These celebs have also actively taken part to spread awareness about the coronavirus pandemic and have urged their fans to adhere to the rules of social distancing and wearing masks.
