Shoojit Sircar’s newly released film I Want To Talk has finally released on the big screens. The film striked the theatres on November 22, 2024 starring Abhishek Bachchan in a lead role, portraying Arjun. Shoojit Sircar, who is known for his powerful projects like Vicky Donor, Piku is marking his first ever collaboration with Junior AB. This film is Abhishek’s first movie after his succesful takes on Dasvi and Ghoomer.
According to IMDb, I Want To Talk tells the story of a man and his daughter living an ordinary life in India until an unforeseen medical diagnosis disrupts their journey. Although this movie failed to create enough buzz as its marketing attempt, the film could probably gain higher recognition once it releases on the digital streaming platforms. Post its theatrical release, I want to talk will be released on Amazon Prime Video. Reports suggest that Amazon Prime has officially owned the right for the film’s OTT release. Although, there is no official statement passed and confirmation on the same is still awaited.
The film will be there on OTT right after a month of its theatrical release ends.Date is not confirmed but will be out in the same month of its release. Other actors in this film are Pearle Dey, Ahilya Bamroo, Jayant Kripalani, Kristin Goddard, and Johny Lever. I want to talk had no major promotional campaigns held in the market, due to which it also did not reach to huge people amid the public. Filmmakers want this film to be solely gain viewers on the basis of content, and not the hype that is created amongst the newer generation.
