Zac Efron is reportedly off the market and no, it’s not Sarah Bro who has his heart neither is it newly single ex-girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens who just broke up with Elvis star Austin Butler.
A leading daily has revealed that Zac is dating his 2014 film Neighbors co-star Halston Sage. It seems as though Sage is not only Zac’s girlfriend on-screen (in Neighbors), but off-screen too.
Rumours of the two co-stars dating were first sparked back in April 2014, but the rumour mill stopped running by July that year. However, fans think this time the timing between the alleged couple is right, unlike the last time. “Zac and Halston are in a serious relationship and in love. They spent the holidays together, with part of that time in Santa Barbara,” a source revealed to a leading daily.
Although there hasn’t been any confirmation from either Sage nor Efron about their “relationship”, the two seem to be stalking each other on Instagram quite often, but not too much as to make it obvious since the two are speculated to be keeping their alleged relationship under wraps.
And as for what happened between Zac and Sarah Bro, a source revealed to a news portal that time and distance got in their way. “The relationship just wasn’t working out,” the source said. “She came back to L.A., and it never got going again.”
The new of Zac and Halston’s “serious relationship” comes just a month after the actor’s major health scare while filming the show Killing Zac Efron in Papua New Guinea. Efron was immediately rushed on an emergency flight and hospitalized in Australia after contracting a serious bacterial infection.
“Very thankful to everyone who has reached out. I did get sick in Papua New Guinea but I bounced back quick and finished an amazing 3 weeks in P.N.G.,” Zac captioned an Instagram post following the news of his illness. “I’m home for the holidays with my friends and family. Thanks for all the love and concern, see you in 2020!”
