Marc Agnifilo, suggested relocating him from the violence-plagued and horrific conditions of the Brooklyn jail to one in Essex County, New Jersey.

Things do not seem to be coming at peace, for the American rapper Sean Combs, also known as P Diddy and Puff Daddy, as once again, he has been denied bail after pleading not guilty to three felony charges. The charges against the three-time Grammy winner and influential hip-hop producer are severe with a bail set at $50 million, which the court has denied.

Charges Against Sean Diddy Combs

  • Racketeering conspiracy
  • Sex trafficking by force, or fraud
  • Interstate transportation to engage in prostitution

According to the indictment of the Southern District of NY, these charges carry severe penalties. Racketeering conspiracy and trafficking could result in a lifetime imprisonment, while transportation for prostitution carries a maximum sentence of 10 years.

The legal document alleges that the rapper “abused, threatened, and coerced women for decades to fulfil his personal sexual desires and protected his reputation. He had also organized drug-fuelled absurd performances known as “Freak Offs,” which were described as elaborate events where he exerted control over victims.

Next, Sean Combs pleaded not guilty to all charges. His attorney, Marc Agnifilo, was disappointed with the prosecution’s choice to continue with the case, claiming that the charges were unfair. “Diddy is an imperfect person but is not a criminal,” he said. Now since Diddy’s arrest, two more women have filed lawsuits against him- Thalia Graves alleged that she raped Combs and his head of security at his studio, with the assault recorded on video. The other woman also charged him for drugging and sexually abusing her.
