Lady Gaga is making headlines once again, but this time it’s not just for her music or acting career. The global superstar is reportedly engaged to her boyfriend, tech entrepreneur Michael Polansky. The news comes just ahead of Gaga’s highly anticipated performance at the 2024 Paris Olympics opening ceremony.
French Prime Minister, Gabriel Attal posted a video on his TikTok, thanking Lady Gaga for her “breathtaking” performance at the opening ceremony. In the video, Gaga hugged Attal near the pool where swimming events were happening and introduced Michael Polansky to the politician as ‘“my fiance.” The entrepreneur and Attal shook hands.
Gaga and Polansky have been dating since early 2019 or 2020, and their engagement news was in talks in April when Gaga was once seen wearing a diamond ring on her left finger. The pop singer was previously engaged to Christian Carino, a talent agent and they broke up in 2019. Before that, she was in a relationship with Zero Dark Thirty star, Taylor Kinney. The couple parted ways in 2016.
Gaga and Michael Polansky have largely kept their relationship private, but they have occasionally shared glimpses of their life on social media. Polansky, who is the CEO of the Parker Institute of Cancer Immunotherapy, has been a steadfast supporter of Gaga’s career and her advocacy work. The couple has been seen together at various events, including the inauguration of President Joe Biden, where Gaga delivered a powerful rendition of the national anthem.
Lady Gaga performed on French song, Mon Truc en Plume (My Thing With Feathers), on Friday night at the Opening Ceremony, and also played the piano during her performance.
As Lady Gaga prepares for her historic Olympic show, she does so with a heart full of love and a future filled with promise. The engagement to Michael Polansky marks the beginning of a new chapter in her life, one that fans are eager to follow.
