Coldplay is set to make a big return to India in 2025 as part of their “Music of the Spheres” World Tour. The concert will take place in Mumbai, confirmed by ticketing platform BookMyShow Live. Coldplay’s India page announced the news on social media with excitement, saying, “It’s official! Coldplay is coming to India in 2025! Get ready, Mumbai is about to light up with magic and music!”
Tickets for the highly anticipated event will go on sale on September 22, 2024, at 12 PM IST. Fans can also look forward to a special surprise guest, who will be revealed in the weeks leading up to the concert. Additionally, a limited number of “Infinity Tickets” will be available starting November 22, 2024, priced at around Rs 2000 to make the concert more accessible. Each fan can purchase two tickets, with seating details to be provided on the day of the concert.
This will be Coldplay’s second performance in India. The band previously played at the Global Citizen Festival in Mumbai in 2016, sharing the stage with A. R. Rahman for a brief set. Their new concert, however, will be their first solo show in the country.
Coldplay, known for their hits like Viva la Vida and their recent single My Universe with BTS, continues to perform around the world. As part of their ongoing world tour, they have already performed in Asia, Europe, Latin America, and other regions, thrilling fans with their unique blend of melodic rock.
