Robert Pattinson’s camera test for Batman is finally out and has been released as the first look/teaser for the 2021 Batman movie and the internet is breaking!
The Batman director Matt Reeves took to Twitter on February 13th to share the first camera test for his upcoming Batman movie, in which Pattinson plays the title role of Batman, protector of Gotham City, Joker’s nemesis and step-brother (which we found out in Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker by Todd Philips). A 55-second teaser has been officially released on YouTube (first uploaded on Vimeo). Pattinson previously joked calling himself “Battinson”.
The video showcases Batman’s suit rather than his face. Without giving much away, Batman’s face is slightly revealed but the focus is more on the finely designed costume.
Fans think it served as a Valentine’s Day present from Reeves and the folks at Warner Bros. Pictures to ardent Batman fans.
The OG Batman Christian Bale talking to a news portal about Robert Pattinson as Batman says “Good choice! He’s interesting.” Well, we don’t disagree.
Bale even lent some words of wisdom to Pattinson. “Just be able to pee by yourself,” Bale said. “You don’t feel like a superhero when you aren’t able to piss by yourself.”
Meanwhile, Robert’s ex-GF and Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart is all praise for Pattinson saying, “Oh man, I feel like he’s the only guy that could play that part. I am so happy for him. It’s crazy.”
