Vin Diesel Returns To Riddick Franchise: These are a busy couple of days for Vin Diesel. After releasing the trailer of his most awaited 10th installment of Fast and Furious saga, Fast X, the actor has announced another big action thriller.
As per latest reports in Deadline, Vin Diesel is set to return for the fourth installment of his popular sci-fi action thriller franchise ‘Riddick’. The actor will reunite with Riddick franchise helmer David Twohy, for the fourth installment titled ‘Riddick-Furya’.
Along with reprising his role as titular character Richard B. Riddick, Vin Diesel is also going to produce the upcoming sci-fi thriller under his home production ‘ One Race Films’.
Deadline further explained that Riddick: Furya centers on Diesel’s anti-hero role as he “finally returns to his home world, a place he barely remembers and one he fears might be left in ruins by the Necromongers. But there he finds other Furyans fighting for their existence against a new enemy. And some of these Furyans are more like Riddick than he could have ever imagined.”
For the unversed, Vin Diesel and David first teamed up for 2000’s “Pitch Black,” and continued the hit sci-fi franchise with two sequels, 2004’s “The Chronicles of Riddick” and his last and third installment ‘Riddick'(2013), which means, he will be returning to this franchise after 10 years.
