Usher and Jenn Goicoechea have announced the birth of baby number two. The singer usher, 42, posted a sweet post to Instagram to tell his 9.3 million followers the family had welcomed a new member.
It comes just over a year after the couple welcomed their first child together, baby Sovereign Bo Raymond. Usher, whose real name is Usher Terry Raymond IV, also has two sons with ex-wife Tamika Foster, 12-year-old Usher V, and 11-year-old Naviyd Ely.
The Yeah! singer (usher year) posted the adorable black-and-white snap showing just the bottom half of the new tot’s face alongside the caption, “Hi, my name is Sire Castrello Raymond… I am the newest addition to the Raymond crew. I was born Sept. 29, 2021, at 6:42 p.m., weighing 7lbs 13oz. Hear me roar…A.K.A Ra Ra.”
It didn’t take much time for usher fan to shower love in the comment section. However, many famous faces were also quick to congratulate the pair in the comments section of the post. Among those sending well wishes was Snoop Dogg who commented, “My nefew.” Meanwhile, Singer Tyrese wrote, “Angels are always welcome here…” Lil Jon also congratulated the couple. Moreover, the official MTV Instagram page also passed on a message, writing, “congratulationsssss,” alongside three love heart emojis.
Usher and Jenn first revealed they were expecting another child at the 2021 iHeartRadio Awards when Jenn showed off her baby bump. The birth date means that once again his newborn is a Libra, just like himself and youngster Sovereign. Talking to Ellen DeGeneres on her Ellen DeGeneres show last November about Sovereign’s arrival, the superstar said, “Sovereign came out early. She was scheduled to be a Scorpio but decided she had a different plan. Libras, you know, they kinda have their minds made up on what they wanna do.”
The singer, usher raymond has previously married his manager and long-time girlfriend, Grace Miguel, in September of 2015. The pair announced they had split up almost three years later in March 2018. He was also married before that to personal stylist Tameka Foster with the pair tying the knot (usher in) in 2007. However, they too lasted under three years as they went their separate ways in 2009. Over usher illustrious career to date, he (usher) has won eight Grammys over the past two decades.
