Truth Behind Viral Video Alleging Candice King Denounces ‘Rafah Massacre’ & ‘Beheaded Babies’

A video circulated claiming The Vampire Diaries actor Candice King criticized Israel's Rafah airstrike, but she's a South African influencer, not the actor.

On Monday, social media users circulated a video alleging that Candice King, known for her role in The Vampire Diaries, condemned Israel’s recent air attack on Rafah’s tent camps, which resulted in the deaths of at least 40 Palestinians, including several children. However, it was clarified that the woman in the video was not the American actor but rather a South African influencer with the same name.

Journalist Sulaiman Ahmed shared a video on X, previously known as Twitter, which quickly went viral, amassing over 1.7 million views. The caption reads, “ACTRESS CANDICE KING CALLS OUT RAFAH MASSACRE AND BEHEADED BABIES. The beheaded babies should draw the line for us all.”

Contrary to the claims, the individual featured in the video is not actress Candice King. Rather, she is Candice King, a South African travel influencer known for sharing Pro-Palestinian and anti-Israel content on Instagram.

In the video, the influencer says, “BABY! BABY! What the hell is wrong with you?” She clarified that she isn’t condemning the Israeli government but rather questioning those who remain silent. She emphasized that there are images of beheaded babies in Rafah, stating that such occurrences should prompt a collective response from everyone.

Yelling and screaming the influencer added, “I’m not crazy. You’re crazy! Because you’re not doing anything and you think this is normal. Me right now, this is normal behaviour. You’re not acting normal.”

She concluded saying, “You can see that stuff and say silent, you’re crazy! You should lose your mind. In fact, if you’re not going to lose your mind, I urge you, unfollow me and freaking block me. Because you’re a psychopath and I don’t want to be around people,”
