Amid the coronavirus pandemic, the shooting of many much-anticipated movies has been put on hold. Among the many movies whose shooting was stopped mid-way, is the Tom Cruise starrer Mission: Impossible 7. However, now after a long pause, Tom Cruise resumes the shooting for the 7th edition of the Mission: Impossible franchisee.
The shooting of Mission: Impossible 7 has kick-started in Norway. In early March, the film’s shooting was going on in Italy. But owing to the COVID-19 outbreak, the team had to pack up the production process.
As of now, the team of the Tom Cruise starrer has kick-started the shooting without a 14-day mandatory quarantine period. They have the permission for the same.
The director of Mission: Impossible 7, Christopher McQuarrie took to his Instagram to share a breathtaking picture from the sets.
In the picture, we can see an unidentified man standing with picturesque mountains view in the backdrop. The picture hints the film will be an action-packed thriller. Fans of Cruise are going gaga to see their favourite star perform some high octane action sequences.
The director captioned the breathtaking picture, “Action… #MI7 Day 1.”
Teasing the fans and followers about what he is going to offer in this installment of the successful franchise.
The delay in the shooting process has postponed the release date of the movie. Mission: Impossible 7 will now be releasing in the year 2021. The initial release date of the movie is November 19, 2021.
On the work front, Tom Cruise will be starring in Top Gun: Maverick. The film was to release on June 26, 2020. However, now the film’s release date has been postponed.
Tom Cruise will also start rolling for Mission: Impossible 8 very soon. Probably after wrapping for the 7th edition in the franchisee.
