Fans are speculating that he’ll sing Dylan hits like Blowin’ in the Wind or The Times They Are a-Changin’. While Chalamet doesn’t have an established music career his preparation for the film involved mastering the guitar, harmonica and Dylan’s distinct vocal style, making his upcoming performance on Saturday Night Live highly anticipated.

Before Timothée Chalamet’s big night, comedian Dave Chappelle will kick off the year’s first SNL episode on January 18 with rapper GloRilla as the musical guest, which was revealed by SNL’s official Instagram account. This will be Chappelle’s fourth time hosting while GloRilla makes her debut on the show following her Grammy nominations.
Chalamet has previously appeared in memorable SNL sketches like Rap Roundtable and Museum of Hip-Hop Panel. With SNL celebrating its 50th season, Chalamet’s episode promises to bring a mix of humour, charm and music.
