There Taylor goes playing the VICTIM again! Big Machine released a statement denying her claims

Taylor Swift took to her social media to reveal how Scott Borchetta and Scooter Braun were denying her the rights to perform her previous certain hits during the 2019 American Music Awards and also in an upcoming Netflix documentary. But now, Big Machine released a statement denying everything that Talor said. Read on.

It was in the summer that Justin Bieber’s manager, Scooter Braun, bought Taylor Swift’s old label, Big Machine Records and along with that all of Taylor’s music. Since then the music industry divided in half and everyone had an opinion about the drama. But then things cooled down after Taylor revealed she would re-record her old music so she could have ownership.

But now Taylor came out again to reveal how she will be honoured as Artist of the Decade at the upcoming American Music Awards and would want to perform a medley of her songs for the show. But she also revealed how Scooter won’t let her perform the songs he owns. She also stated that she isn’t allowed to use her music even in her upcoming documentary with Netflix. And now once again many in the industry are taking sides in this feud.

But recently Big Machine released a statement that claimed Taylor’s narrative does not exist. The statement reads, “At no point did we say Taylor could not perform on the AMAs or block her Netflix special. In fact, we do not have the right to keep her from performing live anywhere.” The statement further reads, “has admitted to contractually owing millions of dollars and multiple assets to our company, which is responsible for 120 hardworking employees who helped build her career.” And as they are trying to work toward an agreement to solve these matters, Taylor again closed to go public with her statement which now affects the safety of their employees and families.

Taylor’s BFF Selena Gomez shared a lengthy post on social media where she said, “It’s greed, manipulation, and power. There is no heart or thought of anyone else. No respect for the words my friend has written since she was a 14-year-old in her bedroom.” She also further revealed, “You’ve robbed and crushed one of our best song writers of our time an opportunity to celebrate all of her music with her fans and the world.” Apart from Selena, Gigi Hadid, Halsey, and even Rebecca Black asked Scooter Braun on social media to let Taylor perform her songs.

Well going by what Taylor tweeted and Big Machine’s statement, it is hard to ascertain what’s true. But surely this is just the beginning of this drama.
