Geena Davis, the Oscar-winning actress who starred in the 1991 classic Thelma & Louise, firmly believes that the film should never be remade. She said, that Thelma & Louise “must never be remade.” The Golden Globe Award winner added, “it’s 30-something years later, and it holds up more than others. I’m not saying this because I’m in it, but it really holds up. And there’s no need to revisit it. What would be the point? In my opinion.”

Directed by Ridley Scott, Thelma & Louise captured a pivotal moment in cinematic history. It was celebrated for its groundbreaking portrayal of female friendship and empowerment, themes that remain relevant today.

The Napoleon (2023) director creating a feminist classic was quite a surprise for some. You just have to have your heart in it.”
