According to two leading globally renowned hollywood entertainment portals who actually confirmed the news, the pilot for the potential series in making which is going to have an ensemble star cast of Chloe Bennet, Dove Cameron, and Yana Perrault as Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup hasn’t been picked up yet for the series and also because of it, The Powerpuff Girls live-action pilot to get totally changed.

A new pilot for the series is expected to be filmed and shot off cycle and the three lead TV actors who got officially announced in March 2021 are still onboard as is Donald Faision who would be seen essaying the role of Professor Drake Utonium along with rest of the crew.

Ever since the series has gotten announced, it has met with loads of criticism from fans on social media and internet along with some questioning that is a live-action reboot on the lines of CW’s hit series Riverdale was even needed or necessary for The Powerpuff Girls in the first place.

Back in April 2021, we all also got the first official look at what were seen to be as the official costumes for the trio and even then fans had various kinds of mixed feelings about the styling choices though most of them were ready to give them a benefit of doubt as well and now the entire change and reworking of the pilot could be one of the strong indicators to the fact that maybe CW is finally listening to the concerns of all the netizens and fans who seriously wanted them to improve the production before it hits our screens sometime late in 2021 if it will.
