At the 2023 Screen Actors Guild Awards, Parks and Recreation co-stars Adam Scott and Amy Poehler had a lovely reunion. They made fun of Adam’s transition to the dramatic role in the Apple TV+ series Severance as they presented the 2023 SGA award for a female actor in a comedy series on stage. Adam Scott is up for the award for best ensemble performance in a drama series.
As the two entered the stage, Adam Scott greeted his former co-star and said, “I am thrilled to be here,” to which Poehler teased that “it’s hard to say since after working in the hit drama series, the former has grown more dramatic.” Adam retorted, “Amy, how dare you?” in mock anger.
Then Amy Poehler made fun of Adam Scott by saying that he should hang out with the drama people instead, wearing a leather jacket and smoking cigarettes. As he doesn’t have any genuine moments with the comic types, Scott stated he would give that a go and appeared to welcome her notion. They then quoted a well-known exchange from Parks and Recreation.
On February 13, Amy Poehler got together with her Parks and Recreation female co-stars to commemorate Galentine’s Day. On their social media pages, Rashida Jones and Amy Poehler both posted a selfie with friends and fellow cast members Kathryn Hahn and Aubrey Plaza. As they leaned against each other for photos, the women looked snug together in their winter attire.
