Kelsey Asbille discovers the importance of not being too trusting of unfamiliar people in the forest while watching the trailer for Netflix’s suspenseful movie Don’t Move.
The movie premiere was scheduled for October 25, following its release during the Geeked Week event for Netflix’s subscribers in Atlanta on Thursday. The film features a star-studded cast including Finn Wittrock, Moray Treadwell, and Daniel Francis, alongside directors Adam Schindler and Brian Netto, with Sam Raimi serving as a producer.
Stay put focuses on a woman who is mourning alone in a secluded woods when she encounters an unknown individual. The man injects her with a paralyzing substance, granting her a brief window to find assistance before her whole nervous system is paralyzed.
“Right from the start, your precise hand movements will begin to deteriorate,” a cryptic voice whispers in the preview. “By the 10th minute, you’ll start to feel tingling in your legs. By the 15th minute, they’ll completely fail you. By the 18th minute, you’ll find it hard to breathe. And as everything comes to a halt around you — your voice.”
Adam Schindler and Brian Netto directed the movie, based on a screenplay by T.J. Cimfel and David White. Raimi, Zainab Azizi, Alex Lebovici, Christian Mercuri, and Sarah Sarandos are the producers.
Asbille is recognized for her role as Monica Dutton in the popular show Yellowstone, where she has also appeared in recurring roles on shows like Fargo and Teen Wolf.
Wittrock has worked together on various projects with producer Ryan Murphy, including the Emmy-award-nominated actor’s work in the American Horror Story series, The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story, and Ratched.
