This time in 2020 for a change, ‘The King’s Man’ release preponed by Disney to Feb 2021.
Giving a bit of relief and happiness to the king’s man franchise fans, ‘The King’s Man’ release preponed by Disney to 12th Feb 2021.
Honestly owing to the ongoing global corona virus pandemic, Disney has changed and postponed the release date of many of its film projects which also includes the Marvel franchise in the second half of 2021.
The King’s Man movie has been facing a date and release issue for quite some time now. The film was initially going to be released in the last year on the 15th November 2019, but was later pushed forward to 14th February 2020.
Then later the film was set to hit the silver screens on 18th September 2020. Just in the last month, ‘The Kings Man’ was given a fresh release date of 26th February 2021.
But now putting an end to all the floating rumours and speculations, Disney has again provided a fresh date for its 20th Century Studios spy action venture.
The King’s Man is currently looking forward to premiere in theatres and cinemas on the 12th February 2021 being moved up and preponed by two weeks.
This pleasing and welcome change came about as Disney had originally shifted and changed the releasing dates of a number of its upcoming films.
These include Marvel universe franchise movies like the “Black Widow”, “Eternals” and “Shang-Chi and the Legends of the Ten Rings”.
But now, ‘The King’s Man’ has landed a final and sure shot release date of the postponed Eternals movie from the Marvel franchise.
The multi-starrer superhero film “Eternals” was originally set and scheduled to be releasing on 12th February 2021. It has now been pushed to 5th November 2021.
Furthermore, as Disney had a vacant and empty date, it preponed and upped the premiere date of The King’s Man. It seems that Disney is very eager and also too keen on giving the film a well deserving theatre release for it is a part of an already well-stabilized and super successful film franchise.
The plot of the film is “As a collection of history’s worst tyrants and criminal masterminds gather to plot a war to wipe out millions, one man must race against time to stop them. Discover the origins of the very first independent intelligence agency in The King’s Man”.
The King’s Man is directed by Matthew Vaughn, who has also helmed the previous two movies. He wrote the screenplay with Karl Gajdusek. It is loosely based and inspired by the story and the plot of the comic book series Kingsman, which had been created by Dave Gibbons and Mark Millar.
