The Gray Man Premiere: Russo Brothers Show Love For India, Talks About New Films With Indian Actors

The Gray Man director, Russo Brothers, shared their experience of coming down to India and revealed that he would love to more projects with Indian talents.

The Russo Brothers have recently visited India for The Gray Man premiere. Tamil star Dhanush, who will be seen in a key role in the Netflix film making his Hollywood debut, was present at the red carpet premiere in Mumbai as he joined directors, Anthony Russo and Joseph Russo. The Gray Man is one of the biggest projects of Netflix.

However, during the premiere of The Gray Man, the Russo Brothers interacted with the media as they spoke about their experience of coming down to India. While sharing that this was his third trip to India, Joe Russo said, “Love India. It’s beautiful. This is my third trip here.” The director then recalled when he last visited ahead of the release of Marvel’s biggest film ever, Avengers: Endgame and admitted that he was happy to return again this time for The Gray Man.

Meanwhile, during the premiere, Joe Russo was asked whether he would like to work more in India and with more Indian actors to which he replied that he love being here. He shared, “Absolutely, we love being in here, we love the vibrant film community here.” He added, “there’s so much talent in India… the fan base… so passionate.. we love to find so many projects as possible with Indian talent.. producers, directors, and actors. It’s exciting for us.” The Russo Brothers also revealed that they have tried ‘pan’.

The Russo Brothers also talked about Ryan Gosling playing Ken in the upcoming Barbie movie. They said, “Ryan Gosling playing Ken in the Barbie movie, as bizarre as it sounds, that was before anyone would do anything about the Barbie movie. I think we can tell Ryan had a lot of Ken-energy and that he was ready for a Ken-Naissance.” Ryan Gosling will be seen performing hardcore stunts in The Gray Man alongside Chris Evans and Dhanush.

The cast of The Gray Man also includes Ana de Armas, Jessica Henwick, Regé-Jean Page, Julia Butters, Alfre Woodard, and Billy Bob Thornton. The upcoming Netflix movie is based on the New York Times bestseller book series of the same name. The Gray Man will be available to stream on Netflix on July 22, 2022.
