SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk and Grimes welcomed their first child together on Tuesday, and the tech billionaire shared with the world an adorable picture of the newborn — a baby boy. But the choice of name for the boy, as Musk has declared, has puzzled people, and on social media, they have come up with memes and explanations.
When people started to question about the name of the boy, Musk told his 33.7 million on Twitter that his name would be ‘X Æ A-12’. He posted on Twitter later to say that the baby and mother are “all fine.”
He even shared the picture of the baby as followers asked for a picture. Most people were dismayed by the name choice and some questioned how it was pronounced. Soon memes and flood in on social media platforms by the netizens.

Soon after, the child’s popstar mom, Grimes, stepped in to clear things up and explained the significance of the name. However, the clarification didn’t make it clear and most people weren’t sure if Grimes’ explanation was part of an elaborate joke.
This is Grimes’ first child, while Musk has five sons already, all of them from his first wife, Justine Musk. Grimes, who dropped her fifth album “Miss Anthropocene” in February, then opened up about her pregnancy and explained how she felt woefully ill-prepared.” She requested pregnancy advice from Instagram and apologized to fans for not promoting her song.
