Taylor Swift Praises Pal Zoë Kravitz’s Performance In The Batman

The movie follows Batman (Robert Pattinson) in his second year protecting Gotham City from the criminal underworld.

Taylor Swift has recently given the newly-released The Batman her seal of approval. The Grammy award winner took Instagram Story to paise Zoë Kravitz’s performance as Selina Kyle a.k.a. Catwoman. Alongside an image of Kravitz, Swift penned while tagging her, “@zoeisabellakravitz is the Catwoman of my dreams.” In the image, Kravitz donned her all-black attire from the critically-acclaimed DC superhero entry.

Swift added in the caption, “The Batman was phenomenal!!!” The two have been friends for several years. Swift is far from the first to praise The Batman, which is sitting on a strong 85% Fresh rating from 364 reviews on Rotten Tomatoes. However, Swift played a different kind of ‘cat woman’ in the much-maligned 2019 Broadway adaptation Cats, where she played Bombalurina.

The film has also easily become the biggest film of the year at the box office with a huge opening weekend of $128.5 million. The Batman has already surpassed the only other $100 million movies of the year, Sony’s Uncharted, which has earned $100.2 million from three weeks in theaters.
