Taylor Swift and her beau Joe Alwyn have sparked engagement speculation as they recently jetted to Cornwall for a three-day break. The pop star and her actor boyfriend have now been dating for four years after first being linked at the beginning of 2017 and could be about to take the next step.
Taylor and Joe jetted from her Nashville to London last week, before heading to Cornish hotspot St Ives for a romantic three-day break, as The Sun. As they flew 4,000 miles for the short trip, which sources have described as ‘particularly special’ for the couple, engagement rumors started swirling all around the internet.
Meanwhile, a source told the outlet, “Taylor’s a superstar and obviously very wealthy, so she can travel almost anywhere she wants at any time. But to go that far just for a few days clearly meant a lot to them. ‘It feels like things are getting more serious and people think an engagement could be on the cards. That could explain such a long journey to a specific place.”

The source continues, “Taylor is keeping her cards close to her chest, but they’re certainly very happy and enjoying their time together.” The source added to the outlet that “the couple have lived together throughout lockdown which has made things all the more serious between them. It is believed that for maximum privacy the couple rented a house in the area during their trip rather than staying in a hotel room.”
The sources also revealed that once they had wrapped up their trip in the UK they flew to Maine. Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn have been splitting their time between the U.S. and London in recent years. The couple has continued to keep their relationship very private but has faced both engagement and marriage rumors over the course of the past year.
