Taylor Swift has made history once again. At the 2024 Billboard Music Awards (BBMA) held in Las Vegas, the singer broke the record for the most BBMA wins, securing a total of 49 career trophies. This achievement pushes her past Drake, who previously held the record with 39 wins.
Swift dominated the ceremony, taking home 10 awards in major categories like Top Artist, Top Female Artist, and Top Billboard 200 Artist. Her chart-topping success was also recognized in categories such as Top Hot 100 Artist and Hot 100 Songwriter. The singer’s 2023 album, The Tortured Poets Department, earned her the award for Top Billboard 200 Album.
Reflecting on her achievement, Swift, who turns 35 on December 13, called the milestone “the nicest early birthday present” she could have imagined.
