‘Stranger Things’ Season Five Release Date Halted Due To The Writer’s Strike

Due to the ongoing writers’ strike, production of the fifth and final season of Netflix’s ‘Stranger Things‘ has been halted.

Stranger Things 5 season release date halted: Stranger Things is one of the most popular and beloved series across the globe. The excitement for the fifth season of the series is increasing among the fans, and they are waiting to see when it will be released. However, there is bad news for the viewers: since the beginning of the writer’s strike in Hollywood, the makers have subsequently halted the release date. With its fantastic visuals, standout performances, tight writing, and direction, Netflix’s flagship horror sci-fi drama has been able to appeal to a wide range of audiences.

The production of all late-night talk shows was effectively stopped when the Writers Guild of America (WGA) went on strike recently. Additionally, it affected a number of television programmes. One of these might be the Netflix series.

Work on the fifth season of Netflix’s most popular series, Stranger Things, has been halted due to a writers strike. The show’s creators, Matt and Ross Duffer, released this information on Twitter.

The tweet read, “Duffers here. Writing does not stop when filming begins. While we’re excited to start production with our amazing cast and crew, it is not possible during this strike. We hope a fair deal is reached soon so we can all get back to work. Until then, over and out. #wgastrong.”
