Stranger Things season 4, part 1 will be released on Netflix on May 27. The first seven episodes will all be streaming on the platform at once. Netflix viewers around the world will be able to stream them based on their own time difference. As earlier revealed by Netflix, Stranger Things season 4 is split into two parts with the final two episodes not released until July 1. These will follow the same release time as part 1, with new episodes released at midnight Pacific. Meanwhile, Stranger Things season 4 India release time is 12:30 pm IST.

The official description of the upcoming season of the sci-fi horror drama reads, “It’s been six months since the Battle of Starcourt, which brought terror and destruction to Hawkins. In this most vulnerable time, a new and horrifying supernatural threat surfaces, presenting a gruesome mystery that, if solved, might finally put an end to the horrors of the Upside Down.”

Stranger Things Season 4 Part 1 Cast
While Stranger Things includes quite a large cast from the very beginning, subsequent seasons have only seen the team grow, with fan-favourite new faces coming to play important roles in the action. Like Robin, played by Maya Hawke, was only introduced in season 3, but the character quickly proved to be pivotal in the show opposite Steve aka Joe Keery. Likewise, Max, who was introduced in season 2, would appear to be a more important character than ever before in the upcoming season.

Stranger Things season 4 features nine episodes in total. Netflix has confirmed that most of these episodes will be supersized. No episode in season 4 will be less than an hour-long, with the final three all running at feature length.
