Stranger Things 4 Finally Under Wrap After 19 Long Months – Spoiler Alert

One of the most anticipated shows across the globe sees a wrap. Stranger Things star Noah Schnapp reveals an 'exciting surprise' in the making.

It has been a long time coming, but it seems like season 4 of Stranger Things has finally wrapped filming and is ready to give fans a new trailer. Cameras rolled on one of the most anticipated shows across the globe in February 2020. But almost 19 months have passed by and it has taken forever for the team to finish the shoot of Stranger Things 4. After many setbacks and halts due to various reasons throughout the 19 months, the team seems to have now finally wrapped up the shoot. Noah Schnapp has given some spoilers for the fans.

This is according to one of the stars of the Netflix series. In an interview shared by the Stranger Things Spoilers account on Twitter,

Talking about Stranger Things 4 and when to expect it is Noah Schnapp now, who plays Will Byers on the show.

Noah Schnapp (Will Byers) has spilled beans in an interview shared by the Stranger Things Spoilers account on Twitter when the Netflix series star was asked if he is still filming Stranger Things. He says the team has finally finished shooting for the show last week, which is 19 months after they began in Lithuania. Not just that, Noah also confirms that the makers are right now on the edit table cutting a brand new teaser for the show. However, the actor doesn’t really reveal when we must expect the release but this is also an important update for the fans.

He said, “We just finished, like last week.” He added, “Yeah, really. We’ve been filming forever. And they are finally done. And they are putting together another teaser.”

Meanwhile, it was recently when Duffer Brothers executive Shawn Levy had revealed that Stranger Things does not end at season 4. He said, “Season 4 won’t be the end. We know what the end is, and we know when it is. The delay has given us time to look ahead, figure out what is best for the show. Starting to fill that out gave us a better idea of how long we need to tell that story.” He continues, “We want each season to feel different, as opposed to re-creating the same thing over and over again. With season three, we realized early on that we were going to shoot mostly in the summer and that it would be released in the summer.”

It was revealed last month that Stranger Things season 4 will officially be slated to release on Netflix in 2022. But we have got good news for the fans as Netflix will be holding a virtual event next week to showcase some of its upcoming series. Named ‘Tudum’, the event will take place on September 25. Stranger Things stars including Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, and Joe Keery will be at the event.

It really has felt like they have been shooting forever. On February 14, 2020, show makers Matt and Ross Duffer revealed that filming had officially begun on the fourth season of the show. Although, just two weeks later, they were forced to stop production due to COVID-19. Then the shooting finally resumed around September of 2020. Recently we saw them fast-tracking the filming and the behind-the-shoot images showed them shooting scenes after scenes.

The pandemic delayed the new season but there are some other aspects as well. The Netflix series producer explained, “It’s already known that, as the pandemic was starting, I was over in Lithuania with David Harbour shooting that piece that revealed Hopper’s alive.” He added, “So you kind of know we’ve got some action in Hawkins, we’ve got some action apparently in Russia, and we have an entire storyline set elsewhere that will soon come to light. So this is the first season where we have this sprawling geography, multiple location shoots, and we’re doing it all against a backdrop of a world that has made filming slower longer in delay. So that’s why it’s taking so long.”

For those who don’t know, Stranger Things season 4 is one of the most anticipated shows across the globe. The Netflix series stars Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbour in the lead.
