Steven Yeun Will Be Seen In Marvel’s ‘Thunderbolts’

The Walking Dead Star will be featured in Marvel's thunderbolt which will be released in July 2024.

Steven Yeun, who became popular a few years back as part of the biggest television show, now has joined the biggest film franchise of all time. The former Walking Dead star has been cast in Marvel Studios’ Thunderbolts as The Hollywood Reporter reported.

Yeun’s role is kept secret but is said to play a key role. Like all Marvel castings, it could expand to other projects. Thunderbolts focus on the shadowy Marvel characters.

“It says a lot about the team when the beloved Winter Soldier is the sturdiest of them all,” Marvel boss Kevin Feige quipped on introducing the team.

Jake Schreier will be directing Thunderbolts. Screenwriter Eric Pearson, who was comfortable with Black Widow’s gray area, is writing. Thunderbolts is scheduled for July 26, 2024.

Yeun played Glenn Rhee on AMC’s The Walking Dead from 2010 to 2016 and has had a strong career since retiring from the show. He received an Oscar nomination for Minari, starred in Jordan Peele’s Nope, and currently voices the title character in Amazon’s animated comic adaptation Invincible, directed by Robert Kirkman from The Walking Dead.

Recently Ben Affleck puts down the Batman suit after The Flash and the film will mark his final outing as DC’s Batman. As per the latest media reports, Ben Affleck will be again reprising his role of Matt Murdock aka Daredevil in the upcoming Avengers: Secret Wars event film.
