Spider-Man: No Way Home Is Not The Last Flick Of The Franchise, Confirms Producer

The latest flick of the franchise will be centered around Spider-Man's identity of Peter Parker being revealed. Spider-Man: No Way Home will hit Indian theatres on December 16.

Just a few weeks left to release Spider-Man: No Way Home and, the producer of the franchise has already announced that Tom Holland will be returning in his signature Spider-Man role for another trilogy. Sony producer Amy Pascal also confirmed that not only Holland will be returning as Peter Parker but the plan is to have him star in another three movies.

However, according to Sony producers, the forthcoming Spider-Man movie will not be the last movie that they are going to make with Marvel. She told Fandango in an interview published on Monday, “This is not the last movie that we are going to make with Marvel, this is not the last Spider-Man movie.” Pascal added, “We are getting ready to make the next Spider-Man movie with Tom Holland and Marvel. We’re thinking of this as three films, and now we’re going to go on to the next three. This is not the last of our MCU movies.”

The movie would make Holland the longest-tenured Spider-Man of all time as Tobey Maguire starred in three Sam Raimi films from 2002 to 2007 while, Andrew Garfield starred as the character in two Marc Webb films from 2012 to 2014. However, Pascal confirmed that the collaboration between the two production companies will continue as she said, “Yes, Marvel and Sony are going to keep going together as partners.”

Sony Producer Amy Pascal has been very open in her enthusiasm over Holland in the Spider-Man aka Peter Parker role as she told GQ in a profile about the actor earlier this month that she has spoken with him about ‘doing like 100 more’ films. Meanwhile, Holland seemed unsure about his future in the franchise at the time as he even suggested that perhaps it is time to do a film centered around the Afro-Latino Spider-Man character Miles Morales.

The latest flick of the franchise will be centered around Spider-Man’s identity of Peter Parker being revealed and him asking Doctor Strange played by Benedict Cumberbatch for help but dangerous enemies from other worlds start to appear when a spell goes wrong. The Spider-Man: No Way Home cast includes, Zendaya, Marisa Tomei, Jon Favreau, Willem Dafoe, Alfred Molina, Jamie Foxx, J.K. Simmons, Benedict Wong, and J.B. Smoove. Spider-Man: No Way Home release date is scheduled for the UK on Wednesday, 15 December with a US release two days later on December 17.
